To create hype around McVitie’s new Digestive Bars, we came up with a special Valentine’s activity. We thought we’d treat people to these wheat biscuits in their new guise, instead of traditional chocolates.

We attached one of the three flavors we were sampling (Original, Chocolate and Caramel) to a special Valentine’s greeting card, and distributed the two-bar packs to employees, students and patrons in popular nightspots.

Samplers enjoyed these yummy bites so much that some of them asked us for seconds. Some romantics wanted to share the bars in the same pack. Others wanted one full pack for themselves, and another to offer to their loved one. Either way, it was sweet love
